Biddy Mason can be found in several works of public art. But in summer 2020, one of those works — a New Deal-era mural housed at UC San Francisco — came under attack. The university plans to bulldoze the building which contains the mural in order to make way for a 1.5 million-square-foot expansion project.
Our collaborators are fighting to save this important piece of American history.
