Preserving Biddy Mason’s Legacy

Biddy Mason can be found in several works of public art. But in summer 2020, one of those works a New Deal-era mural housed at UC San Francisco came under attack. The university plans to bulldoze the building which contains the mural in order to make way for a 1.5 million-square-foot expansion project.

Our collaborators are fighting to save this important piece of American history.

Read more about the historic mural here, and about the campaign to save the mural here.
